Nearly twenty five years after she first joined the staff of the Western Illinois University Quad Cities campus, Kristi Mindrup is now the boss. Monday the university announced her promotion to Vice President of Quad Cities Campus Operations.

She had been serving as interim administrator for the last year and-a-half.

Mindrup started working for WIU as a clerk at the Moline campus in 1997, and became manager of instructional technology systems one year later. Her other jobs included assistant to the director, director of instructional and administrative services, and assistant vice president for Quad Cities academic affairs.
Education
