Tuesday they announced the ratification of a two-year agreement for this year, and next. It affects 435 certified teachers.
Their salaries will go up three per cent this year, and 2.5 per cent next year, plus they'll receive increases based on years of service.
And the pay hikes should help offset the rising cost of their health insurance.
A statement from the district says "The agreement allows the District to continue to focus on student learning while attempting to remain fiscally responsible."
