One man working at the John Deere Classic hopes every day will be boring. Steve Carman is the PGA Tour's Tournament Director.
He's in charge of the competition or, as he says, "Everything that happens inside the ropes." Carman is also head of the rules committee.
Carman has worked every John Deere Classic since the tournament moved to TPC Deere Run 16 years ago. The PGA Tour official grew up on a farm and stays at a hotel in Geneseo because he doesn't like cities.
