Our guest this week is Debbie Davis (Qc Alegirl) , Operations Manager at Wake Brewing and a resident of Rock Island. Debbie is stoked about some upcoming events at Wake including their all ages wrestling event during Alternating Currents, an anniversary party and Octoberfest! The conversation continues with Debbie sharing some of her favorite places to get outside in the area and we wrap up with her thoughts on the service industry in the Quad Cities and why people truly are the destination here in the Quad Cities!

Marc Zyla joined WVIK, Quad Cities NPR in May 2022 as the Director of Community Engagement. Prior to that Zyla had been the Director of Education and Community Engagement with the Quad City Symphony Orchestra, where he continues to perform as Principal Horn. Zyla believes that there is something for everyone in public radio and brings passion and creativity to his position as Director of Community Engagement.
