Friends of the Milan Bottoms Chair Justin Booker and member Kelly McKay speak with WVIK News about their group's discussions with the city and developers, and concerns about developing next to wetlands.

The "roost in" is 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 18th, outside Rock Island City Hall. The "roost in" is ahead of a public hearing regarding Parkway/I-280 TIF district, which would expand into the Casino-West site and the Milan Bottoms. The city states the expansion will allow TIF dollars to be used for conservation maintenance in the wetlands.
