Davenport Police Ask for Help

davenport_police_dept._0.jpg

If you saw something, say something. That's the request from police in Davenport trying to figure out who was involved and what happened when violence broke out in the city over the weekend.

Anyone with information about the vandalism, thefts, and assaults that occurred on Sunday afternoon through early Monday morning are asked to contact investigators.

Tips to police will be confidential and can be emailed to dpd digital evidence at dpddigitalevidence@davenportiowa.com.

A native of Detroit, Herb Trix began his radio career as a country-western disc jockey in Roswell, New Mexico (“KRSY, your superkicker in the Pecos Valley”), in 1978. After a stint at an oldies station in Topeka, Kansas (imagine getting paid to play “Louie Louie” and “Great Balls of Fire”), he wormed his way into news, first in Topeka, and then in Freeport Illinois.
