Today's headlines:

  • tax reform means lower utility bills for customers of MidAmerican Energy,
  • Iowa lawmakers want to make sure every school district has plans for emergencies,
  • and the River Bandits have returned to the Quad Cities for the new Midwest League season.

A native of Detroit, Herb Trix began his radio career as a country-western disc jockey in Roswell, New Mexico (“KRSY, your superkicker in the Pecos Valley”), in 1978.
