Party officials in Rock Island County are getting ready for the Illinois primary.

Michelle O'Neill reports it'll be held in less than a month.
Summary
Early voting has begun in Illinois. Bill Bloom, Rock Island County Republican Party Chair, says committee members and  volunteers are already hard at work. Doug House, Chair of the county's Democratic Party, says social media is a big part of the group's primary push.

Illinois republicans will send 69 delegates to the GOP convention this summer, while 182 democratic delegates will attend their party's convention.

One of the more interesting races in Rock Island County is for the seat now held by 72nd District Representative Pat Verschoore who's not running again. Four democrats and two republicans are on the primary ballot.

Voters in more than 17 states and the District of Columbia will caucus or go to the polls before the Illinois primary on March 15th.
