The roundabout at Forest Grove Drive and Middle Road was closed early this year. It's re-opening today, as officials say the Forest Grove Drive Project is in its final months.
The major project will widen and improve Forest Grove Drive, starting near International Drive and extending east through Middle Road. It will also improve Middle Road, from Forest Grove Drive to just south of the I-80 interchange.
The roundabout opens onto "The Plex," over thirty businesses, including the TBK Bank Sports Complex.
In the coming weeks, more areas will reopen and detour routes will change as construction wraps up.
