After over a decade in Milan, Agrisolutions has a new home. On Thursday, the agricultural manufacturing company opened its 110,000 square foot plant in southwest Rock Island, which is almost four times larger than its previous space.
Principal Owner Robert Mandel says the move was necessary so the company could grow.
"It gives us such an expanded footprint. We are very growth-oriented. There is a significant opportunity to grow not just within the plant, but even outside it on the property that we reside. So, that was a key requirement to making the move that we did from Milan."
At one end of the plant, there is 30,000 square feet of empty space inside, into which the company could expand substantially. Mandel says it's only a matter of time.
"In my experience with space, and with [this company] in a growth-mode, it will be occupied very soon."
Agrisolutions has six manufacturing centers on four different continents, where it makes parts, accesories, and solutions for agricultural machinery and hardware. The company owns five established brands: Bellota, Ingersoll, Rozalma, Solbjerg and Trinity.
