A Tennessee-based company plans to build a psychiatric hospital in Bettendorf after persuading a state council to approve it. Last week, the Iowa Health Facilities Council voted 4 to 1 to give Strategic Behavioral Health permission to provide mental health services from a new, 72-bed hospital.
