The inaugural Quad Cities’ Environmental Film Series begins on Sunday, Jan 19, 2020 with the showing of The Biggest Little Farm. In a partnership between The Joyce & Tony Singh Foundation, the Sierra Club Eagle View Group, River Action, and Nahant Marsh, six films will be brought to the Figge Art Museum auditorium through May 17, 2020 which address climate change and the destruction of our natural spaces.
Having the opportunity to view each film within a community of supportive people is an important component of this series. The scheduled “talk back” sessions following each film screening will also allow audience members to discuss the film with a moderator having expertise or insight into the particular film topic.

- Jan 19: The Biggest Little Farm
- Feb 23: Overload: America’s Toxic Love Story
- Mar 15: The Brower Youth Awards and Shorts of Conservation Activists
- April 5: Honeyland
- April 26: Anthropocene: The Human Epoch
- May 17: Sustainable Nation

Ticket prices are $5 for adults, $2 for students, or $20 for a six-film season pass which can be obtained on-line or at the door. All shows begin at 4PM at the Figge auditorium.
Nahant Marsh, a partner in this film series, will also be holding their annual Oberholtzer Awards on Feb 29, 2020. Individuals who are either from or working in our community and who have made significant contributions towards understanding and protecting our natural world will be recognized.
