Early Voting in Iowa

Early voting for the Iowa City-School Election begins today. Iowans who are voting early can drop off ballots at their county auditor's office or mail it in.

The deadline for pre-registering to vote, and to request an absentee ballot is Oct. 23.

Absentee ballots can be dropped off until Election Day, on Nov. 7. In-person early voting will be in the board of supervisors room at the Scott County Auditor's Office.

Voters can also drop off their absentee ballots at a few local libraries:

- Scott County Library, Oct. 25 9am-3pm

- Bettendorf Public Library, Oct. 27 9:30 am-3:30 pm

- Davenport Public Library, Eastern Ave branch, Oct. 26 9:30 am-3:30 pm

- Davenport Public Library, Fairmount St branch, Oct. 24 12:30 pm-6:30 pm
