Mayor Mike Matson has three primary opponents in his race for another term - Ken Croken, Brandon Westmoreland, and Yvonne Collins.

Two people are challenging 2nd Ward Alderman Judith Lee and 4th Ward incumbent Robby Ortiz, while in the 7th ward, Derek Cornette has three primary opponents.
The Scott County Auditor's office says the deadline to request that an absentee ballot be mailed to you is September 25th, and completed absentee ballots must be received by election day, October 10th.
In-person early voting opens September 20th, in the county office building in the first floor board of supervisors room.
