Before, it was called "QC Current." But now, the visitors bureau calls the podcast, "QC, That's Where"-- the same name as its most recent marketing campaign.
Katrina Keuning, Digital Marketing Storyteller, says the podcast is about people who live, create, or work in the Quad Cities, or those who have ties to the area.
"The Quad Cities has an amazing story to tell and millions of little stories within, from people, places, businesses, attractions. The podcast goal is to build visibility and tell those stories."
Keuning hopes the podcast helps residents and visitors learn about what's happening in the Quad Cities and find things to do.
"The people here and the stories they have to tell are as genuine as they are quirky. And we want our visitors to feel that when they come here and really understand that that's what they're heading to"
