Hundreds of people will travel around Davenport tonight, looking at holiday decorations. The Davenport police department will sponsor its annual Senior Lights Tour.
Spokesman, Corporal Hank Jacobsen, estimates 400 seniors will ride a total of 17 buses. And they'll follow the same route as in past years.
"We're going to start on the east side - Jersey Ridge and East 46th Street - in that area. And then we're going to cross over 53rd Street and hit the Oak Brook North area.
Participants will board buses at CASI, the center for active seniors, and at nursing homes and independent living centers around the city. The tour begins at 7 pm.
This year's Senior LIghts Tour is made possible by the Davenport police, Plus 60 Club, CASI, Durham Busing, and River Bend Transit.
