A well-known and long-time business in the Quad Cities will close soon. Today Holland Jewelers in Moline announced it will go out of business.
In a press release, owner Jeff Holland says he's involved in another business investment that'll take all his attention, and he's closing to pursue other interests.
And, "sales have been solid and we want to leave while we are on top of our game."
Holland Jewelers was founded in 1933 by Jeff Holland's grandfather, Maurice Holland.
A going out of business sale begins next Thursday (11/15), but no final closing date has been announced.
Holland says he hopes to announce his "next business venture" in the near future.
