Iowa Workforce Development is hosting weekly events in Davenport with HNI every Wednesday and Whirlpool every Friday this month. Martha Garcia-Tappa from IowaWORKS says it's a great opportunity for local residents with manufacturing skills.
"From assembers to production to welders, there's a variety of positions they'll be screening for here at IowaWORKS. It's one of these one-stop places where you can come and get help with your resume and also come in and talk to employers about your skills."
The events will be held at 1801 East Kimberly Road in Davenport.
HNI recruiters are available from 9 AM until 12 PM on Wednesdays (January 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th), and Whirlpool recruiters are available from 11 AM until 2 PM on Fridays (January 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th)
