Streamline Architects is a full-service architectural firm that has expanded recently into the art of fabrication, designing and hand-crafting custom furniture, casework, and lighting for both commercial and residential use.
Originally based in Davenport, the company has relocated to an expanded space within the Rust Belt complex at 1201 7th St. in East Moline. The new location will feature a showroom where people can view and purchase their creative furniture designs, watch the architects and craftspeople at work, and grab a coffee from their own coffee shop. The space is anticipated to be fully open in July.
Known for their industrial, modern, and clean designs, Streamline Architects has created many well-known commercial spaces within the Quad Cities, including The Tangled Wood and Crawford Brew Works/Healthy Habits in Bettendorf; Roam (recently closed due to the catastrophic flooding earlier this summer), Armored Gardens, Raw Bar, and the Stardust in Davenport; and the Steel Plow in Moline, among others. They are uniquely oriented to provide comprehensive design, including custom interior work and landscape architecture in addition to their architectural services.

Streamline Artisans (the sister company which fabricates furniture) is hosting the upcoming Iron + Grain Maker Festival Aug. 30-31. It will showcase handcrafted works of art made by skilled artisans from all over the Midwest, and will feature classes, food, beer and more.
