Rock Island County and Scott County COVID-19 cases and deaths as of 4/6/2022

As of April 6th, 2022, no one in Rock Island County and Scott County had died of COVID-19 in the previous week, but the number of cases increased.

The Iowa Department of Public Health reported the number of new cases in Scott County increased to 38 over the previous seven days, compared to 11 the week before.

The Illinois Department of Public Health reports the number of new cases in Rock Island County over the same period totaled 35, compared to 30 the week before.

Vaccination rates continue to increase very gradually. As of April 6th, 2022 in Scott County, the CDC tracker says 60.6% of the population is vaccinated with two doses, compared to 60.1% one month ago. In Rock Island County, 58% of the population have been vaccinated, compared to 57% one month ago.

In Dubuque County, the state agency reported an increase to 25 new COVID-19 cases over the previous week, compared to 16 the week before. And 64.2% of the population is vaccinated, three-tenths of a percentage point higher than one month ago.
