Western Illinois University's search for a new president continues. Tomorrow, The University Board of Trustees will interview six finalists virtually, including current WIU Interim President Martin Abraham.
Interviews will conclude tomorrow night, and a decision is expected at the Dec. 18 Board of Trustees meeting.
Other finalists include:
- Bahman Ghorashi, former provost and vice president for academic affairs at Tennessee Tech University
- Cady Short-Thompson, provost at Hope College
- Steve Michael, executive vice president for academic affairs and provost at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles
- Michael Shonrock, dean of faculty at the Center for Leadership Development, U.S. Office of Personnel Management, Washington, D.C.
- Guiyou Huang, president at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
