Seven men are in jail after rioting in Davenport Sunday and early Monday.

Michelle O'Neill reports Scott County Attorney Mike Walton also released the name of one of the two people who were shot and killed.

Sunday night around 11:00, officers were called to the 3100 block of West Kimberly Road in Davenport.

A 22-year-old woman named Italia Kelly, a passenger in a car in the WalMart parking lot, had been shot and died.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is handling this case. No police officers fired shots at this location.

The other person who died, in the 1400 block of Davenport's Myrtle Street, has not been identified.

Around 3:00 a.m., three Davenport officers in an unmarked truck were called to that area.

That's when suspects fired their guns hitting the truck 13 times and an officer in the driver's seat was shot twice, once in the leg.

The other bullet hit his holstered gun at his side.

Bullets also hit his headrest inside the truck.

The other two officers in the truck took him to the hospital for treatment, and he's now recovering.

Another officer returned fire, and the suspects got into a car and drove away.

Other officers chased the suspects' car which was, at times, driving up to 90 miles an hour.

Eventually, it crashed in the 1900 block of Mound Street.

Police found seven guns plus ammunition inside the car.

Here's a list of people in the car who've been arrested: Lashawn Hensley, Don White, Jr., Deaguise Hall, Raheem Houston, Devell Lewis, and Michael Cross.

Another suspect, Brandon Pullman, has also been arrested.

Two of the suspects are from Davenport, and five are from Rock Island. They range in age from 27 to 34 years old.

Charges include eluding, felon in possession of a firearm, intimidation with a dangerous weapon, and willful injury with serious injury.
