One man is dead after a fire in Davenport. On Monday around 6:30 pm, a fire crew responded to the fire at the Pavelka Mobile Home Park in the 6500 block of Rockingham Road.
The home was engulfed in flames by the time Davenport firefighters arrived, and a man was found dead inside. His name hasn't been released.
Nearby mobile homes were exposed to the heat, but no one else was injured. The fire marshall is investigating the cause of the fire.
