Two-hundred trucks have dropped off nearly one-million wreaths in the Quad Cities. The wreaths will be placed in cemeteries across the country to honor fallen soldiers, with help from the trucking company, Tennant Yard Management in Colona.
Owner Aaron Tennant says the non-profit, Wreaths Across America, coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies at 1,100 veteran cemeteries each year. The wreaths are manufactured in Maine.
All week, Tennant donates the labor to manage and pack the trucks, and space for storage. But, he says the cost is worth it to honor veterans.

Tennant says all of the wreaths will be shipped out by Wednesday night. And, some of them will end up at the National Cemetery on Arsenal Island. The cemetery will hold its annual Wreaths Across America ceremony on Saturday, beginning at 11 am.
