Some creative winter sports enthusiasts will race handmade sleds next week. Snowstar Winter Sports in Andalusia will host the Great Cardboard Sled Race on Monday, Feb. 16.
Snowstar General Manager, Ed Meyer says people will compete to see who can build the best sled, using only cardboard and duct tape. Then, they'll race down the tubing hill.
Contestants will compete in different races based on age. And up to three people can ride on each sled.

Registration is now open on the Boys and Girls Club website. The Great Cardboard Sled Race begins Monday at 9:30 a.m.
