The chief judge of Iowa's Seventh Judicial District will serve another term. Thursday the chief justice of the Iowa Supreme Court announced appointments for each of the eight districts, including the re-appointment of Marlita Greve.
Judge Greve first became chief judge in 2013, and was given another two- year term in 2015. Her new term will begin in January.
After law school, Greve was in private practice for 14 years before her appointment to the bench in 2006.
The Seventh Judicial District covers five counties - Scott, Muscatine, Cedar, Clinton, and Jackson.
