A judge agrees with a prior ruling - Jack Schwartz will not  be listed on the ballot as a democratic candidate for Rock Island County State's Attorney. Tuesday, Judge Jeffery O'Connor agreed with the county Electoral Board which last month threw out the petition the Davenport attorney filed to become a candidate.

Schwartz says the judge decided he and his wife, Amy, did not strictly follow state law.

Doug House, Chair of the Rock Island County Democrats, filed his objections to Schwartz's petition to the electoral board in December. And he respects Judge O'Connor's decision.
