National Weather Service

Moderate flooding is occurring along the Mississippi River from Dubuque to Burlington.

The National Weather Service says the river measures 2.3 feet over flood stage Wednesday in the Quad Cities, and it's expected to reach 2.7 feet over flood stage by Friday and then begin to fall slowly.

It's 2.2 feet over flood stage in Muscatine, with a predicted crest on Saturday at 3 feet over flood stage, then begin to fall slowly.

Flooding seems to be over for now along the Rock River - it's below flood stage at both Joslin and Moline, and falling.
