The eagles nesting in Riverdale at the Arconic plant are now taking care of their first egg this year.
A post on the Arconic EagleCam page says the egg showed up in the nest on Sunday around 2:30 pm. The parents, Liberty and Justice, coped well with the challenge of 50 mile-an-hour winds.
If there is a second egg, Arconic eagle-watchers expect to see it on Tuesday or Wednesday. And if all goes well, hatching could occur at the beginning of April.
