'I Teach The Women, And Now The Women Are Able To Teach Each Other'

Dr. Kit Evans-Ford is a professor of theology at St. Ambrose University, and also the founder of Argrow's House of Healing and Hope — a resource center in Davenport for women escaping domestic violence.

"Dr. Kit" will be one of the panelists at WVIK's "Intelligent Conversations" speaker series on April 11, centered around "Real People Working To Change The World"— taken from the title of a book by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Nicholas Kristof, who will keynote the event.

The professor — and entrepreneur — came to the studios of WVIK to talk about how she works to change the world, right here in the Quad Cities:
