Rock Island High School juniors Amber and Amy Haskill were separated by the foster system for four years, forced to live with separate families. The twins doubted they would ever get to live with each other again, let alone be adopted before they turned 18.

But in 2011, their dreams for a reunion and a loving family came true: Alli and Dan Haskill adopted the girls. They now run QC Closet2Closet, a nonprofit that donates clothes to foster children. Amber and Amy came to the studios of WVIK for The Great Quad Cities Listen, to talk to each other about their childhood growing up in foster care, as well as their work with Closet2Closet.
