Quad City Arts will hold a reception honoring this year's recipients of Arts Dollars grants Friday, April 29th. This year, 22 organizations and educators, and 3 individual artists will receive grants totaling $91,000.

Grant Specialist Anissa  Pemberton says the money benefits over 70,000 people by helping to fund special events like The River Music Experience and Kidstock, and organizations like The Figge Art Museum, the Quad City Symphony Orchestra, and more.

Quad City Arts serves Henry, Mercer, and Rock Island counties in Illinois, and Clinton, Muscatine and Scott counties in Iowa. Pemberton says Arts Dollars grants are awarded in three categories: non-profits, individual artists, and K through 12.
