A politician, history professor, attorney, and actress praised a famous Rock Island resident for a variety of contributions to the community and State of Illinois. Augustana College presidents Tom Tredway, Steve Bahls, and Dee Canfield from the Genesius Guild spoke on Thursday at WVIK's gala to honor the founder of the station and theater organization, Don Wooten.
