Voting booths begin traveling throughout Rock Island County this week, giving residents more ways to cast early ballots in the 2018 general election.


It all boils down to whether you think Iowa is in great shape, or whether major changes are needed. That's according to the candidates for governor during a debate in Davenport on Sunday. Herb Trix reports. 

Morrison Police Department

Residents of Morrison will vote next month on whether to build up their police force. The November 6th ballot includes a referendum for a "Police Protection Tax."

One statewide candidate is ready to roll up her sleeves and start working as soon as the election is over. Republican Darlene Senger is a former state representative now running for Illinois Comptroller.

Democrats in Rock Island County are kicking off the first official day of early voting by doing just that - voting.

The main election officers in the Quad Cities are celebrating your right to vote. Tomorrow, the Scott County Auditor's Office and the Rock Island County Clerk's Office will co-host a voter registration rally called, "Our Voice, Our Vote, YOU Matter."
