St. Ambrose University is introducing a program to accommodate a growing trend in sports. The university in Davenport recently announced the addition of e-sports to its varsity line-up.

St. Ambrose University is expanding services to its post-graduate business alumni. The new, "Forever Masters" program kicks off tonight and tomorrow with a keynote speaker.

Dr. Ron Wastyn, Director of the Master of Organizational Leadership program in the College of Business, says Forever Masters shows the school's commitment to those who earned MBA, Master of Organizational Leadership, Master of Accounting, and Doctor of Business Administration degrees at SAU.

Saint Ambrose will continue a long tradition of standing up for civil rights. Tomorrow on the university campus in Davenport, students, teachers, and others will begin a two-week observance of Martin Luther King's birthday with a silent march.

Michelle O'Neill reports the tradition is called, the "March to Remember."


Craig DeVrieze, SAU's Public Relations Director, says at the end of the march, officials will unveil the eighth marker on Davenport's Civil Rights Walking Tour. The plaque will highlight students, professors, and priests who fought for civil rights.


An actress known for her role on the drama series "One Tree Hill" will campaign for Hillary Clinton in Davenport this weekend. Saturday, Sophia Bush will speak at two events in the Quad Cities, before heading to central Iowa.

Thirty musicians are in the St. Ambrose athletic band.

On Saturdays, the student section in Brady Street Stadium is about to become more spirited. St. Ambrose University kicks off the college football season Saturday at 1 p.m. with a game against Concordia. And for the first time in decades, the school has formed a band that will play during games.

The musicians got to know each other and rehearsed for their big debut at the Bees' band camp in the week leading up to the fall semester.
