A training site for disabled veterans can now expand beyond the Quad Cities. Friday Saint Ambrose University in Davenport celebrated the addition of new technology to its assistive technology house, making it accessible to anyone, in person or online.

Saint Ambrose University is preparing to celebrate the latest addition to its campus in Davenport. On Friday, it will hold a blessing, dedication, and ribbon-cutting for its 20 million dollar Wellness and Recreation Center.

St. Ambrose University is expanding services to its post-graduate business alumni. The new, "Forever Masters" program kicks off tonight and tomorrow with a keynote speaker.

Dr. Ron Wastyn, Director of the Master of Organizational Leadership program in the College of Business, says Forever Masters shows the school's commitment to those who earned MBA, Master of Organizational Leadership, Master of Accounting, and Doctor of Business Administration degrees at SAU.

Saint Ambrose will continue a long tradition of standing up for civil rights. Tomorrow on the university campus in Davenport, students, teachers, and others will begin a two-week observance of Martin Luther King's birthday with a silent march.

Michelle O'Neill reports the tradition is called, the "March to Remember."

Summary

Craig DeVrieze, SAU's Public Relations Director, says at the end of the march, officials will unveil the eighth marker on Davenport's Civil Rights Walking Tour. The plaque will highlight students, professors, and priests who fought for civil rights.

More students in the Quad Cities will get some welcome help paying for college. Monday the Quad Cities River Bandits announced the addition of Saint Ambrose University to the Bandit Scholars Program.

Saint Ambrose University will have three new varsity sports teams starting next year. This week, the athletic department announced it will add men's and women's swimming and diving, and women's lacrosse.
