More students in the Quad Cities will get some welcome help paying for college. Monday the Quad Cities River Bandits announced the addition of Saint Ambrose University to the Bandit Scholars Program.

As winter approaches, the River Bandits are thinking about spring. Monday the Class-A affiliate of the Houston Astros released its schedule for next year.

It was a long and difficult season for the Quad Cities River Bandits this year.

Thursday the Quad Cities River Bandits will open the new season. Members of the Class A minor league affiliate of the Houston Astros arrived in Davenport on Sunday and the team held its annual media day Wednesday.

When the new minor league baseball season opens next week, there will be two new teams at Modern Woodmen Park, one on the field, and one in the office. Tuesday, the Quad Cities River Bandits introduced nine  new staff members.

The Quad Cities River Bandits play their first game in the playoffs tonight, after a record-breaking season. Not only did the team finish with the second best record in franchise history, but it also broke the record for the highest average attendance at home games.

A national honor for the Quad Cities - in sports. Thanks to the success in recent years of the Quad Cities River Bandits and the Quad City Mallards, Sports Business Journal says this is now the number one minor league sports market in the country.

If you had tickets for the June 29th game between the Quad Cities River Bandits and Beloit Snappers, chances are you had a tough time finding an open spot in the bleachers. That's because the River Bandits gave away dozens of free tickets for that night's game.

If you had box seat tickets for the June 29th game between the Quad Cities River Bandits and Beloit Snappers, chances are you had a tough time finding an open spot in the bleachers.

That's because the River Bandits gave away dozens of free tickets for that night's game. It was the team's way of saying thank you to the fans for voting Modern Woodmen Park the best Class A ballpark in the nation in an online contest held by Ballpark Digest.
