COVID-19 Testing

This week, the State of Illinois is offering free, drive-through coronavirus tests in Aledo.

The state's public health department says people can also walk to the Mercer County Health Department for a COVID-19 test. 


Moline's free COVID-19 testing center closes this weekend after 11 days and thousands of tests. The drive-up testing site is in the TaxSlayer Center parking lot, and will be in operation 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day until Sunday. 

Testing for COVID-19 will be available to 300 randomly-selected students and staff at Augustana College. Starting next week, Augustana will use a less-invasive saliva test.

People who live in Dubuque County now have another option to get a free coronavirus test.

COVID-19 testing in Rock Island has been extended by two days. The site opened on June 29th, and was originally scheduled to close this Friday. But now, it will continue through Sunday (7/12).
