Booker for President 2020

The weekend itinerary for Cory Booker includes several stops in eastern Iowa. The Democratic candidate for president, and New Jersey US Senator, will tour the state in an r-v, starting Friday, and focus on women's health care and flooding by the Mississippi River.

Less than a week after he became the 23rd Democratic candidate for president, Montana governor Steve Bullock traveled to Iowa, ending a three-day campaign trip on Saturday in Davenport.

Buttigieg 2020

"Mayor Pete" will campaign in Iowa this weekend, including two stops in the eastern part of the state. Pete Buttigieg is the mayor of South Bend Indiana, and also one of the many Democrats competing for next year's presidential nomination. 

Bullock 2020

Two days after announcing his campaign for the Democratic nomination for president, Steve Bullock is coming to Iowa. The governor of Montana will visit eight counties, including several in the eastern part of the state, during his three day campaign trip.

Washington Governor Jay Inslee learned all about the flood during a tour this morning in downtown Davenport. The democratic candidate for president emphasized the need to "defeat" climate change due to its impact on rainfall and flooding.

Hart Running for Congress

Former teacher, state senator, and candidate for lieutenant governor, Rita Hart, has decided to run for office again. Tuesday she announced she's running for Congress in Iowa's 2nd District, which covers southeast Iowa and includes the Quad Cities and Clinton.

Inslee 2020

Democratic presidential candidate Jay Inslee will visit Davenport Wednesday morning. The governor of Washington state will tour the downtown area affected by flooding, and meet with several business owners still cleaning up and hoping to re-open. 

Eric Swalwell - US House

A young Congressman from California will help kick-off a series of forums with presidential candidates in the Quad Cities. On Sunday, Eric Swalwell will be the first to address local residents, sponsored by the Quad City Times, Chamber of Commerce, and Saint Ambrose University.

Davenport residents will have a lot of choices this fall when they choose a new mayor. Wednesday Steve Duffy announced his candidacy, and became the third person hoping to succeed Frank Klipsch who's not running for re-election.
