You won't have to go far to find a Democratic presidential candidate this weekend. Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, John Delany, and Tom Steyer all plan to visit eastern Iowa.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation has released the names of the law enforcement officers involved in the fatal shooting of a southeast Iowa man last week.

On Midwest Week, four years after a police shooting in Burlington, the fight over which details should be released to the public, and which shouldn't, isn't over yet.

Gillibrand 2020

The next Democratic presidential candidate to visit Iowa will be Kirsten Gillibrand. The US Senator from New York will make six stops in the state Tuesday and Wednesday, including several along the Mississippi River.

Delaney for President

One of the candidates for president will campaign for some fellow Democrats running for the Iowa legislature this weekend. During his latest trip to the state, Congressman John Delaney from Maryland will work for candidates in some key districts in eastern and northeast Iowa. 

Second Crest Coming

After falling for several days, the Mississippi River is rising again in the Quad Cities. And a second crest following heavy rain in recent weeks, is expected on Monday. The National Weather Service says the river today is 1.3 feet over flood stage, and expected to reach 1.8 feet over, by Monday.
