This weekend, one of Iowa's most famous paintings begins a European tour after having a facelift of sorts. Jackson Pollock's "Mural" spent a few years at Davenport's Figge Art Museum due to a flood in Iowa City.


Music lovers, theater fans, and festival goers are supporting a multi-million dollar industry in the Quad Cities. That's according to a study by Americans for the Arts, a national organization, which presented its findings today at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport.


A 20-foot, 500 pound sculpture and a wooden "throne" now decorate the RiverCenter in downtown Davenport. Today, the Downtown Davenport Partnership celebrated the unveiling of two new sculptures.


Artists, students, and teachers are fighting hunger in the Quad Cities--one colorful glass and clay bowl at a time. The Moline School District will host its 5th annual Empty Bowls Project tonight in the high school cafeteria.
