Tonight, the Davenport City Council will consider hiring an architect to design renovations for the Main Library downtown. A master plan was completed in January, and now it's ready to move on to the "next phase" of the project.

Davenport's downtown library is now open additional hours thanks to an agreement with Scott Community College. Instead of opening its own library in the new urban campus, the college will use the city library that's just one block away.

A Quad Cities librarian wants to know how to tell the difference between real news and fake news. And Amy Groskopf, Davenport Library Director, wants people to learn the same thing.

On Monday night at 6:30, the library will host, "The Rise of Fake News." Michelle O'Neill reports it'll be a panel discussion at the Eastern Avenue Branch.
