Ted Cruz Wraps Up Iowa Campaign

WVIK Staff

With less than 24 hours until the Iowa caucus, Ted Cruz is making his final campaign stops in the state. Tonight, the republican stopped at the Adventure Community Church in Davenport, urging the crowd to bring as many friends as possible to the caucuses tomorrow night.

If elected as president, Cruz has a 5-step plan for his first day in office. He says he'd un-do Obama's illegal decisions, investigate Planned Parenthood, and repeal Obamacare.

Cruz also says he'd get rid of the Iran nuclear deal and move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.

As for the days that would follow his first day in office, Cruz says he'd end Common Core, implement a flat tax rate, and abolish some federal agencies, including the IRS.

Cruz campaigned in Iowa City today, and will host a watch party for the caucuses tomorrow night in Des Moines.
