It was standing room only for local residents who came to see GOP presidential candidate, Marco Rubio, in Davenport. This morning, the US Senator from Florida spoke at Scott County GOP headquarters in Paul Revere Square.
Rubio wants to improve higher education so graduates can find jobs, and not be saddled with student loan debt. He also wants to the government to offer more help to students who don't go to college for four years.
If elected president, Rubio also says his foreign policy will be drastically different from President Obama's, especially when it comes to relations with Iran.
After meeting with voters in the Quad Cities today, Rubio is set to speak at the National Right to Life Convention in New Orleans later today.
