This morning on Arsenal Island, a small group of Army officials and civilians remembered those who died on 9/11, 2001, and those who lost their lives in the . The Rock Island Arsenal Garrison held its annual ceremony to honor the victims of the terrorist attacks, and those who have lost their lives in the war on terrorism. The garrison also streamed it online.
Lt. Gen. Tom James, comanding general of First Army, spoke after a wreath was placed on the memorial. Attendance was limited due to the pandemic.
Hundreds of American flags were on display at the 9-11 memorial to represent those who died in the terrorist attacks.
