Plans for a 110 million dollar land-based casino are now in the hands of Davenport city staff. Tuesday night, officials from the Rhythm City Casino presented details of their project to Davenport's Planning and Zoning Commission. General manager, Mo Hyder, says the 40-acre site is at the southwest corner of Interstate 80 and I-74. The 7-story building would include 300,000 square feet, including 34,000 just for the casino. He calls the design both "iconic and attractive."
