Residents of the Illinois Quad Cities can get help tomorrow cleaning out their garages and basements. The Rock Island County Waste Management Agency will hold what it calls a "collection event" for used, old, and un-wanted electronics.
Staff Coordinator, Laura Berkley, says the agency has been holding one or two of these a year, since 2011.
It's open only to Illinois residents, but not businesses.
Berkley says the most common items turned in at these electronic collections are televisions and computers, but micro-wave ovens and dvd players are also accepted.
It'll be held tomorrow (sat) from 9 am to 1 pm at the Rock Island County fairgrounds in East Moline.
