A performance by Ballet Quad Cities will be broadcast across Iowa. Friday and Monday (4/20), Iowa Public Television will air the Ballet's performance of "Romeo and Juliet."
The performance, "Love Stories featuring Romeo and Juliet," was recorded at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in Moline, in February. It features two acts and an updated version of Shakespeare's classic story.
The program on Iowa Public Television will include the full performance and behind the scenes interviews with the cast and choreographer.
It will air Friday night at 8:30, and again on Monday, at 9 pm.
For those who prefer a live performance, Ballet Quad Cities will present "Sleeping Beauty" on Saturday at 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. at the Adler in Davenport.
