The Iowa Democratic Party hopes it's found a way to increase participation in the upcoming presidential caucuses.
Spokesperson Sam Lau says this month, it began accepting applications for satellite caucus locations for Iowa residents who want to take part, but can't make it to their precinct on February 1st.
Residents can apply for a satellite caucus online, and locations, such as senior living facilities, will be chosen by the State Central Committee.
