1,000 people are expected to line up at the RiverCenter in Davenport later this week for free dental care. Iowa Mission of Mercy (IMOM) will set up a free clinic on Friday and Saturday.
This will be the 12th annual IMOM clinic in Iowa, and the first time since 2012 that it's been held in Davenport.
IMOM Marketing Manager Mackenzie Sheehan says the clinic is first come, first serve, with no questions asked.
"Anybody regardless of income level, and regardless of their state of residency. We certainly are promoting this to Illinois residents and Wisconsin residents. If they are able to show up we will treat them."
She also says that patients should come early to make sure they can receive the care.
"Historically people will start lining up as early as the evening before the clinic is open. Definitely some people will be waiting overnight."
The clinic will open at 6 a.m. on both Friday and Saturday at the RiverCenter.
